Founded by Mairtín Óg Lally, a travel enthusiast with a deep passion for the great outdoors, and Reiner Van der Maat, an avid kite surfer and adventurer, WeWheel has been committed to offering guests exceptional cultural and outdoor experiences since its inception.
Mairtín and Reiner, united by their passion for nature and a deep understanding of visitors’ desires in Ireland, combined their extensive experience in the tourism industry to create WeWheel. Both were already operating successful Irish tour companies: Mairtín with Lally Tours and Reiner with Overland Ireland. At the end of 2024, WeWheel expanded its tour offerings to include amazing destinations in Spain and Portugal.
This dynamic duo’s collaboration has given birth to WeWheel, an ebike tour and games company designed to redefine the way people experience the breathtaking landscapes and cultural treasures of the destination they are exploring, whether it’s in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, or beyond!
