Our exciting Galway scavenger hunt by e-bike provides hours of enjoyment, laughs, and a few fun facts along the way. You could be asked anything, from questions on general knowledge to Galway history, or even to grab a selfie! The five boroughs of Galway City are your playground, and your friends and team members are in it to win it!
While our games are built around fun challenges, we also want to make sure you get to see the best parts of Galway City along the way. Our highlights along the route include the Spanish Arch, Blackrock Diving Tower, Galway Cathedral, and, of course, the breathtakingly beautiful Galway Bay.
To ensure the best experience, we recommend keeping team numbers between 2 and 6 people during your Galway group activities. We can break larger groups up into smaller teams and let you compete against each other or fight it out individually for the coveted top spot on our leaderboard! Less is sometimes more, though, and we find fewer e-bikers per group means more fun for everyone involved.

Unfortunately we do have some restrictions on our tours, due to the size of the bikes. The minimum height is 146cms (4ft 6in) and the maximum weight is 125kgs (275lbs).
Our e-bike scavenger hunt in Galway is created with you in mind, and crafted to ensure a balance of challenging questions, spectacular scenery, plenty of new facts, and bags of fun.
With our app downloaded, jump into the saddle and race your friends to top the leaderboard! We’ve dug into Galway City’s rich history and culture, and created fun challenges for all – whether you fancy yourself as a table quiz master or an Instagram sensation!
The tour will take between 2.5 and 3 hours
At the WeWheel Galway HQ (Cornstore, Galway City Center)
Nope. As long as you can cycle a regular bike you will be perfectly capable.
We provide the e-bikes, helmets, and high-vis vests. You should dress for the time of year and the weather forecast. A backpack with water and raincoat is helpful, but not required.
The youngest age we accept is 13 years old, but the minimum height for the bikes is 146cms tall (4ft 6in).
The tour still takes place if the weather takes a turn, so come prepared with a coat and suitable clothing. If the weather does affect the tour operating, your guide will be in touch with you.
Yes, both our self-guided tours and games use our custom WeWheel app, so make sure you have plenty of battery on your phone.
