Aside from the region’s breathtaking natural beauty, there are a few standout highlights of our guided electric bike tour of Gweedore. First and foremost, it’s a wonderful way to admire mighty Mount Errigal – the tallest peak in County Donegal. This majestic mountain dominates the skyline and provides a stunning backdrop for your tour.
You’ll also get to see Bád Eddie – an iconic shipwreck that has been a popular sightseeing spot for decades – and stop in a ghost village abandoned during Ireland’s infamous 19th-century famine. This haunting site provides a glimpse into the past, and serves as a reminder of the struggles that people in this area have faced.
Nature-lovers in particular will enjoy our forest spin along Dunlewy Lough in the Glenveagh National Park, and the panoramic views from Poisoned Glen Viewpoint have to be seen to be believed!
