Unfortunately we do have some restrictions on our tours, due to the size of the bikes. The minimum height is 146cms (4ft 6in) and the maximum weight is 125kgs (275lbs).

Highlights of our independent Gweedore e-bike tour include the mysterious Bád Eddie shipwreck, a ghost village abandoned when famine struck Ireland in the 19th century, and a derelict church. You’ll also enjoy the forest trail which runs alongside Dunlewy Lough, and spectacular views over the mighty peak of Mount Errigal.

Yes, both our self-guided tours and games use our custom WeWheel app, so make sure you have plenty of battery on your phone.
The Self Guided eBike tour is 42km. But, don’t worry! Thanks to the motorised battery on our high-spec eBikes, you won’t feel the millage clocking up at all. Plus, you can go at your own pace and stop as many times as you like.
Our eBikes are an excellent way to cover lots of ground without working up too much of a sweat. There are a variety of gear options, meaning you can choose hoe how much energy you’d like to put into the peddle pushing.

Yes, we provide smart helmets and a high-viz belt for you to wear on your tour.
Our smart helmets have built-in speakers and microphones, meaning you can hear and talk to your friends as you cycle. This also means that you can hear the guided audio as you cycle.
The WeWheel app has advanced GPS technology that enables it to track where on the tour you are and then provide you with the relevant information on the landmark or area you are passing through.
Absolutely! When designing the WeWheel app, we made sure to keep usability at the forefront. The app is super user-friendly and easy to navigate.
All of our eBikes come with a built in phone holder on the handle bars. This means you can follow the map hands free.
